FIRST LOOK: Westport Unveils New 52m 172 Endeavour Explorer Yacht at FLIBS 2026

Designed for adventure and outdoor living

The superyacht features a streamlined profile, extensive glazing and expansive outdoor areas developed to support both adventure cruising and onboard entertaining. One of its defining features is the extended aft main deck, which provides storage for a tender measuring up to 12m. Once the tender is launched, the space can be transformed into an outdoor entertaining area with a bar, dining and lounging facilities, alongside access to the beach club below. The beach club provides direct access to the water and additional storage for tenders, diving equipment and water toys. Further outdoor areas include the forward bridge deck, which offers sunbathing and lounge seating, while the uppermost deck provides a bar, infinity-edge lap pool and additional relaxation spaces.

Verge Yacht Design has developed the yacht's interiors around a natural colour palette inspired by the marine environment, incorporating sand, stone, sea-glass and slate-blue tones. Decorative features include fossil-inspired lighting, stone accents and patterns reflecting the seabed, while a sculptural central staircase creates a focal point within the interior. The main deck saloon offers a spacious lounge, formal dining area and dedicated desk space, with extensive glazing bringing natural light into the guest areas. Above, the bridge deck features a separate skylounge with additional seating and a wet bar, while a glass-enclosed elevator provides access between decks. A dedicated gym and wellness area further supports the yacht's focus on extended cruising and onboard comfort.

The motor yacht accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite positioned forward on the main deck. The private accommodation features twin bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, vanity area and direct access to a side balcony. Four additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck, comprising three doubles and one twin, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Crew facilities are also positioned on the lower deck, with five cabins.

Developed with naval architecture by Westport, the 172 Endeavour is designed to achieve a maximum speed of 21.5 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots, offering faster passage-making than many traditional explorer yachts.

The unveiling of the 172 Endeavour introduces a new adventure-oriented option within Westport's established range of motor yachts. Other notable models from the American shipyard include the smaller 36m Westport W117, a raised pilothouse motor yacht offering spacious guest accommodation and outdoor entertaining areas, and the larger 41m Westport W135, which also features a raised pilothouse configuration and a layout designed for extended cruising. The new Endeavour model builds on an established Westport platform while introducing a layout focused on tender operations, outdoor entertaining and high-speed cruising.
