Maske is the first yacht built on the Numarine 27XP Open platform, marking the official arrival of the Turkish yard’s successor to the successful 26XP platform. The 27XP expands on the formula, introducing more volume, larger exterior spaces, and new onboard technology while staying within the sub-30m segment.
A New Chapter for Numarine’s Compact Explorers
The 27XP keeps the recognizable explorer profile seen across Numarine’s XP family, retaining the high bow, upright forward sections, and long glazing bands that visually reduce the yacht’s height. Exterior styling and interiors are by Can Yalman, while naval architecture comes from Umberto Tagliavini.
Where the new model moves forward is in the usable volume. The extra length has given designers more freedom across both interior and exterior spaces, particularly on the upper deck.
One of the biggest changes is the enlarged flybridge. Compared with the earlier Numarine 26XP, the area has been widened and extended, creating a more substantial social deck with open lounging areas, dining space, and broader views beneath the hardtop. Deep bulwarks, wide side decks, and a raised foredeck lounge continue the explorer emphasis, while the aft deck remains closely connected to the water for easier access during anchoring and watersports.
Hybrid Technology Arrives on the First Hull
Maske also introduces Numarine’s new Mk2 Super Silent Pack, bringing hybrid capability into the superyacht from the outset. The system pairs solar panels integrated into the hardtop with a 48-volt hybrid setup and lithium iron phosphate battery banks designed to reduce reliance on generators during time at anchor. According to the yard, the arrangement supports quieter onboard operation with less vibration and lower background noise.
Built in GRP with a displacement hull, the yacht carries twin MAN engines and reaches a reported top speed of 13.5 knots, while fuel capacity of 11,000 liters supports a range of around 2,200 nautical miles. Accommodation is arranged for eight guests across five cabins, supported by four crew.
Large glazing throughout the main deck keeps the interior visually open, while the social arrangement centers around connected living spaces rather than separated zones. The open galley concept further strengthens that direction, helping the yacht feel suited to extended family cruising.
Built for the Aegean, Designed for Longer Voyages
The first owner’s itinerary gives some insight into the model’s intended role. Following delivery, Maske is expected to spend her early seasons cruising the Greek islands and the wider Aegean - waters that suit the motor yacht’s balance of explorer practicality and outdoor living.
The explorer yacht was originally introduced as a larger and more versatile successor to the 26XP, extending Numarine’s compact explorer offering while preserving the long-range character that has shaped the yard’s recent growth. For Numarine, the delivery also carries broader significance. Moving an existing owner from a 22XP into the new 27XP suggests confidence not only in the platform itself but in the wider evolution of the XP series.
From XP Expansion to Classic Growth
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the world's largest yacht database, the 27XP delivery arrives during an active period for Numarine as the Turkish builder expands both its explorer and lifestyle-focused ranges.
At the larger end of the lineup, attention has centered on the Numarine 40MXP series. The second hull, Mitan, had her interiors revealed earlier this year following her Palm Beach International Boat Show appearance, highlighting the model’s family-focused layout, three-level stern arrangement, and 6,000nm range. The series now has multiple sold hulls, with additional construction continuing.
The yard has also broadened its future direction with the launch of the new Numarine Classic XPC line. Revealed in April, the range opens with the 38XPC and 39MXPC, introducing a more traditional design language while retaining the long-range foundations developed across the XP and MXP platforms. The new series keeps naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini and exterior styling by Can Yalman, but shifts the visual emphasis toward calmer proportions and a more restrained profile.
