30m Ferretti Yachts Ferretti 1000 Superyacht Spica Sold

The 30 metre Ferretti Yachts motor yacht Spica has been sold, marking another transaction for the Italian builder. Delivered in 2023, the yacht features exterior styling by Filippo Salvetti, interiors by Ideaeitalia and naval architecture developed by the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

As the tenth hull constructed in the Ferretti 1000 line, Spica combines highly customised specifications with award-winning design credentials by Ferretti.

Inside, the motor yacht features a contemporary, light-filled interior with extensive glazing and large windows that create uninterrupted sea views and an open-plan atmosphere throughout the main deck living spaces. The owner commissioned several upgrades beyond standard Ferretti 1000 specifications, including custom flooring, enhanced onboard systems, a larger 35kW generator package for extended guest use and charter operations, and construction to Maltese commercial compliance standards, which required additional structural and technical adaptations. Soft contemporary finishes are balanced with practical design elements to create a relaxed environment suited to both private cruising and entertaining.

The yacht’s exterior combines a sleek, contemporary profile with sweeping deck lines, continuous dark glazing bands and expansive tinted glass surfaces that enhance its sporty yet refined Ferretti 1000 styling. A standout feature is the symmetrical exterior circulation design, with twin staircases linking the swim platform, aft deck and flybridge, a layout more commonly seen on much larger superyachts. The hydraulic swim platform creates a waterside terrace and supports tender operations, while the dual-level foredeck lounge and spacious flybridge provide multiple open-air areas for dining, relaxation and socialising.

Accommodation aboard the superyacht is arranged for up to 10 guests across five cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite is positioned on the main deck and benefits from large hull windows, generous storage and direct proximity to the yacht’s social areas. Four additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck, configured as a mix of doubles and convertible twin cabins, each with ensuite facilities. Crew accommodation is arranged separately for five staff members.

Constructed with a GRP hull and superstructure, Spica features a beam of 6.81 metres, a draft of 2.29 metres and an internal volume of 170GT. Her planing hull design is paired with twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines. She reaches a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots.

Spica's last known asking price was €7,900,000.
