The model has been designed by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design as a luxury chase boat and weekend cruiser, offering customisable deck arrangements, accommodation for up to eight guests and two propulsion options.
Hull mould transfer brings flagship closer to production
The transportation of the SR77's hull mould to Sweden marks another important step in the development of Windy's largest yacht to date. Its arrival at the Västervik facility will bring the project closer to the next phase of production, as the builder progresses towards realising its new flagship. The SR77 represents a significant step up in size for Windy, extending its established range of performance-oriented chase boats into the 24m market.
Expansive guest deck designed for life on the water
The SR77 features a sleek, low-profile exterior, with an expansive guest deck designed around outdoor entertaining and relaxation. A generous swim platform provides direct access to the water, while the motor yacht's adaptable deck arrangements allow owners to tailor the layout to their cruising preferences. Conceived to operate both independently and alongside a larger superyacht, the SR77 places emphasis on social spaces, accessibility and versatility.
Customisable accommodation for up to eight guests
Below deck, the SR77 offers three en-suite double cabins, accommodating six guests as standard, with an optional arrangement increasing capacity to eight. Owners can personalise the interior finishes and layout to suit their preferences, creating an environment suitable for weekend escapes or longer periods on board. A separate crew cabin accommodates two crew members, providing additional support for extended cruising.
Twin MAN or triple Volvo Penta propulsion
The SR77 measures 24m in length, with a 6m beam and a full-load draft of 1.03m. Buyers can choose between twin MAN V12-1800 engines, each producing 1,800hp, or triple Volvo Penta D13-IPS1350 engines, each delivering 1,000hp. Fuel capacity is 8,800 litres, supported by a 1,000-litre freshwater tank, while naval architecture has also been developed by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design.
Windy's growing luxury chase boat portfolio
The SR77 will sit at the top of Windy's portfolio, alongside other models within the SR Sports range such as the SR38 and SR44 SX, which also focus on performance, outdoor living and superyacht support. The new flagship builds on this approach with greater onboard space, expanded accommodation and a more substantial platform for extended cruising.
