117m Lurssen Superyacht Boardwalk Delivered

The German shipyard has delivered the 117m superyacht Boardwalk to her owners from the yards facilities in Bremen, Germany. She is a six-deck vessel featuring dual helipads, expansive pool terraces and a design shaped closely by her owner.

The 117-metre Lürssen superyacht Boardwalk has been delivered and is now on her way to Gibraltar following her sea trials in the North Sea earlier this year. Designed with exterior styling by Frank Woll Design and interiors by Amy Halffman Designs, the 5,350GT superyacht features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, combining vast internal volume with a highly personalised layout.

A six-deck profile shaped by scale, structure and timeless design

The superyacht presents a long, structured profile across six decks, where strong horizontal lines and expansive glazing define her visual identity. The exterior reflects a classical and composed aesthetic, with a finely extended bow leading to a full-beam foredeck helipad. The superstructure rises in smooth tiers, each deck creating sheltered terraces without interrupting the yacht’s continuous lines, while long glazing bands reinforce the sense of scale and connect interior spaces to the surrounding sea.

Entertainment-led deck design with dual helipads and layered pool spaces

The motor yachts expansive exterior decks are arranged around leisure and entertainment. A certified touch-and-go helipad occupies the foredeck, complemented by a second helipad on the upper aft deck, enabling flexible helicopter operations. Pool design plays a central role, with a large rectangular pool and integrated spa on the main deck aft, while a second, recessed dual-pool arrangement sits on the upper deck. Wide terraces and a generous beach club create multiple social zones, allowing guests to move seamlessly between relaxation and activity across the yacht’s decks.

A refined interior shaped by owner involvement and family living

The interior of the yacht remains largely private; however, her scale suggests a strong emphasis on comfort and liveability. Expansive glazing bands are expected to create a bright, open atmosphere, enhancing the sense of space while fostering a seamless connection with the surrounding seascape.

Displacement engineering supporting global cruising capability

Boardwalk is engineered for long-range cruising and stability. With a 17.2-metre beam, 4.5-metre draft and a bulbous bow, the yacht offers a highly stable platform for extended voyages.

Lürssen remains the dominant force in the 100m-plus segment, with a portfolio that consistently pushes the boundaries of scale, engineering and customisation across the global superyacht market.

A Growing Order Book at Lürssen

According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, there are currently 11 Lürssen yachts in the order book, highlighting the yard’s continued strength in the ultra-large yacht sector.

Boardwalk joins a wider construction programme at Lürssen, with several major projects currently underway. Among them is the 110m superyacht O3, due for delivery in 2026 and designed to accommodate up to 20 guests across 10 cabins.

Also in build is the 102m superyacht Nixie, scheduled for launch in 2026, which similarly offers accommodation for up to 20 guests across 10 cabins, reflecting the yard’s continued focus on large-scale, high-capacity custom yachts.
