Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.65m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,620 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2022. This was the first yacht built on the Amer 74 Steel design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Vertige is built on a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure and runs to just over 73.8m (242ft). Her profile, drawn by Antonio Luxardo, is low and horizontal, with long bands of glazing cutting through clean white surfaces so the superstructure reads as layered rather than stacked.
Five decks are arranged with strong visual continuity, and full-height windows dominate the main and upper levels, giving the yacht a lighter look than her displacement size suggests. The bow is upright and broad, with a near-vertical stem and sharp forward overhangs that emphasise length and internal volume.
A key part of the layout is the terraced aft section. Decks step down toward the sea, leading to a large swim platform and a 110 sq/m beach club framed by twin shell doors that open to create a stern span of around 13m (42ft). When deployed, the area becomes a wide, open sea-level terrace rather than a narrow platform.
Upper decks are arranged with open lounge areas and sunpads, and sightlines run cleanly aft through the glass-enclosed upper lounge, which offers a 270º view. The overall effect is structured and practical, with glazing and outdoor space doing most of the visual work rather than decorative detailing.
Interior Design
The interiors are by Luxury Projects under Laura Pomponi. The brief centres on light, warmth and clarity, and that intent is reflected in the heavy use of glazing and open-plan spaces.
The main deck saloon stretches roughly 15m (49ft) as a single open volume, with floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides. Above, a glass-enclosed upper lounge mirrors that openness and provides an elevated social space with wide views aft.
Vertical movement is handled by a glass guest lift serving four decks on the starboard side, while a separate crew lift links six decks from tank deck to sundeck, keeping service routes distinct from guest areas.
Accommodation
Accommodation is for up to 14 guests in seven staterooms. The owner’s suite, positioned forward, spans about 75 square metres (807sq/ft) and includes two private side balconies that extend the cabin outwards. Guest cabins are placed close to the waterline and benefit from large hull windows.
