Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.15m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 386 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the nineteenth yacht built on the Oasis 40M design. Launched in June 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Livorno yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Confessa is a 40.8m (133.9ft) Benetti Oasis 40M, and this model is built around the Oasis Deck concept, so the exterior is driven by outdoor living as much as by form. RWD shapes the yacht with a vertical bow and smooth, flowing lines, and the long bands of glazing stretch across both main and upper decks, which keeps the profile light while opening up the interior.
The aft section defines the yacht. The main deck opens out into a wide beach club with fold-down bulwarks, and this pushes the usable width to over 11m (36.1ft), so the space feels closer to a terrace than a cockpit. An infinity pool sits at the centre of this area, positioned right at the water’s edge, and steps run down to the swim platform, so the whole space works as one continuous zone for swimming, lounging, and watersports.
The tender garage is moved forward, so the stern stays completely dedicated to guests, and that decision shapes how the yacht is used. Above, the upper deck carries a large aft dining area with space for up to 14, while the sundeck adds a bar, grill, shaded seating, and a forward jacuzzi. The foredeck sits lower and more private, with sunpads and lounge seating set back from the bow.
Sliding glass doors link the main saloon directly to the aft deck, so the interior and exterior connect without interruption, and movement across the yacht feels natural and open.
Interior Design
Confessa’s interior is fully custom, and that sets it apart from standard Oasis 40M builds. The design uses light woods, neutral tones, and darker accents, so the spaces feel calm but not flat, and the finish balances private use with charter durability.
The main saloon is arranged as an open-plan space with lounge seating aft and dining forward, and the full-height glazing on both sides brings in constant natural light. Curved sliding doors open directly onto the Oasis Deck, so the saloon can run as part of the exterior when required, and that connection defines how the yacht is used day to day.
The upper deck skylounge adds a second interior living space, with wide views and direct access to the aft dining area, while the bridge forward uses the same glass-heavy approach, so visibility stays clear without separating the space from the rest of the yacht.
Accommodation
Confessa accommodates up to 11 guests across five cabins, with a layout that focuses on space and privacy.
The full-beam owner’s suite sits on the main deck, and it uses the yacht’s width to create a large, open cabin with strong natural light and clear separation between sleeping and lounge areas. On the lower deck, four guest cabins provide a mix of doubles and twins, so the layout can adapt to different groups.
The yacht also includes accommodation for up to 9 additional staff or security, alongside 9 crew in dedicated quarters, so service can run at a high level without affecting guest areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12 1440) 12-cylinder 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Confessa is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 45,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles making her well capable of long range and transatlantic voyages.
