Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 47'3" beam and a 14'9" draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 2,990 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in February 2016 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2016.
Exterior Design
Lionheart’s exterior was developed in-house at Benetti under the direction of Stefano Natucci, whose long-standing collaboration with the yard has shaped many of its largest yachts. The 90 m (295.3 ft) profile balances scale with restraint, using long horizontal lines, layered decks, and extensive glazing to reduce visual mass.
Large bands of glass wrap the main and upper decks, while sculpted cut-outs and inset balconies add depth along the hull sides. A fixed forward balcony on the main deck is believed to serve the owner’s suite, reinforcing the yacht’s private, owner-led brief. The uppermost deck features tall forward-facing windows, complemented by distinctive eye-shaped hull ports and additional glazing near the swim platform.
Interior Design
The interior was created by Monaco-based studio Green & Mingarelli Design, led by Tina Green and Pietro Mingarelli. Known for discreet, highly personal projects, the studio approached Lionheart as a private residence rather than a statement interior.
While detailed layouts remain confidential, the design centres on privacy, comfort, and flow between spaces. An elevator connects all four guest decks, supporting easy circulation throughout the yacht and reinforcing the sense of long-term liveability rather than charter-first planning.
Accommodation
The yacht provides guest accommodation for 12 throughout six cabins. There are 30 crew onboard.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Lionheart is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Wellness
Lionheart has a gentleman's suite of onboard amenities: there's a beach club with recliners, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and a helipad. There is a wellness center with a gym, spa, and beauty salon. An elevator connects the decks.
Tenders
The yacht comes complete with a black VanDutch tender airbrushed with an image of a lion.
