Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 6.52m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 140 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the eleventh yacht built on the Grande 27M design.

Exterior Design

Ana is part of the Azimut Grande 27 Metri series, a model that hides a surprising amount of internal volume beneath an aggressively styled exterior profile. Designed by Stefano Righini, the yacht combines sharp structural forms with long flowing curves, giving the 26.78m (87.9ft) platform a much leaner appearance than the dimensions suggest.

The profile follows what Azimut often described as a “rugby-ball” silhouette, where the superstructure stretches low and continuously from the bow toward the extended flybridge overhang aft. The raised pilothouse arrangement breaks up the yacht’s vertical height naturally, while also allowing for a more efficient internal layout.

One of the strongest visual elements is the extensive full-height glazing. Large dark glass sections sweep through the hull and superstructure, visually lightening the profile and strengthening the connection between interior and sea views. Around the main saloon, the cutaway bulwarks reduce visual obstruction from inside while adding a sculpted layered effect externally.

The bow carries a semi-vertical upper section with a sharp entry that gives the yacht a more assertive stance forward while helping maximise internal volume within the owner’s area. Long sweeping deck lines continue aft into an extended flybridge structure that shades the cockpit below.

Exterior guest areas are spread across multiple levels. The aft cockpit focuses on open-air dining close to the water, while the flybridge creates a second entertainment deck with additional lounge seating, sunpads, a dining area, barbecue station, and shaded canopy. Forward, oversized integrated daybeds turn the foredeck into a dedicated sun lounge with uninterrupted outward views. The stern arrangement flows down toward the swim platform through broad teak steps, maintaining the layered exterior effect that defines much of the Grande 27M’s architecture.

Interior Design

The interior of Ana was designed by Salvagni Architetti and follows a softer contemporary approach built around curved forms, indirect lighting, and warm natural materials. The atmosphere feels modern without becoming stark or overly minimal.

Large expanses of glazing dominate the main deck spaces, pulling natural light deep into the saloon and reinforcing the yacht’s connection to the surrounding water. Neutral furnishings, warm timber flooring, and sculptural detailing soften the strong exterior architecture and create a calmer mood internally.

Curved geometry appears throughout the interior layout, from the furniture forms to ceiling transitions and integrated cabinetry. Lighting is layered subtly into the architecture instead of becoming a dominant decorative feature, which keeps the spaces relaxed during evening use.

The main saloon benefits particularly from the yacht’s cutaway bulwark design, as sightlines toward the water remain unusually open for a yacht in this size category. Seating arrangements stay low and residential in feel, helping the interior avoid the heavy formality often found in larger production yachts.

Accommodation

Ana offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 1 x diesel MAN (V12 1900 HP) 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Ana is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. With her 9,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 360 nautical miles at 24 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
