The Amels 60, designed by Espen Oeino, replaces the best-selling Amels 180, delivering the same six-cabin, tri-deck layout but with a new, far sharper exterior style.

The Amels 60 has a strikingly architectural tri-deck design with a volume of 830GT, as a platform build the 60 mixes a proven and set exterior design with plenty of customisation for the buyer across the interior and decks. The displacement hull will deliver speeds of up to 15knots using hybrid propulsion, cruising at around 12knots. As a crew-operated vessel capable of extended cruising, there is space for up to 13 crew in separate quarters.

Accommodation

The Amels 60 has a main salon and elevated bridge salon, creating two distinct social spaces for lounging and dining, both leading out to private terraces. Full-height glass encases all the main social spaces. The Owner’s stateroom is forward on the main deck with private access, lounge, dressing room and en suites. A fold-down balcony is the stand-out feature, creating a private elevated retreat. With the tenders stowed forward, the below-deck guest cabins lie further aft allowing direct access to the beach club.

On Deck

The Amels has three very social decks designed for lounging, dining and lifestyle topped by a sundeck, an open expanse dedicated to the alfresco lifestyle with options for Jacuzzis, bars, dining and sun bathing areas. For privacy, protection and shade, a huge architectural arch covers the central section of the sun deck.

Back at the waterline, a superb beach club has terraces opening on three sides with an adjoining spa and fitness room.

Amenities & Tenders

This yacht gives a good deal of space and thought to tenders, with a large separate dock area set into the forward sections. Here multiple craft can be accommodated with cranes for launch and recovery.

Performance & Capabilities

Designed for extended cruising, trans-Ocean range is a possibility from the full displacement hull with 4,500nm quoted at 13knots. The Amels hybrid propulsion combines diesel engines with battery-powered electric drive, the yacht is able to run silently on all-electric power at 7knots.

With Hybrid by AMELS technology, the AMELS 60 offers cruising up to 7 knots with electrical propulsion motors. The system works with multiple sources of energy working together seamlessly throughout a wide operating profile. The owner benefits from very low noise and vibrations, lower fuel and maintenance costs, while reducing harmful emissions.

Key features of the AMELS 60 include: a large Sun Deck, Swim Platform and folding Owners Suite balcony, Generous interior volume of 830 GT, light and airy with signature large Main Deck windows, a 9-metre luxury tender stowed on foredeck.

From the Main Deck and Bridge Deck aft, guests have clear views down to the giant 38 square-metre Swim Platform and stairs (409 sq ft).

The deck forward of the jacuzzi easily converts to a Touch-and-Go helipad for aircraft up to 3,000 kg Maximum Take Off Weight

On Main Deck, the four large trapezoid-shaped windows – a signature feature of Espen Øino’s design – offer almost full-height views, filling the Owners Suite with light.
