The Westport 112 is this American builder's entry-level model, a fast cruising, crew-operated yacht with a pilothouse design and full flybridge.
The Westport has a semi-displacement hull and shaft drive propulsion delivering a 26-knot top speed and cruising at around 20knots-24knots.
A four-cabin interior layout has all the sleeping accommodation on the lower deck and a large main deck salon.
A usefully shallow draught of 1.8m (6ft) allows the 112 to cruise in shoal waters and get in and out of shallow harbours and anchorages – particularly useful in the Caribbean, Bahamas and parts of the Mediterranean.

About
Accommodation
Depending on the layout you choose, the galley can play a central role in life onboard. The lounge leads to a dining area as is conventional. But, with no main deck Owner’s cabin, the galley stretches forward into an open, social design that can include a lounge or breakfast area, a perfect family area day or night.
That leaves all sleeping quarters on the lower deck. Here again, the Westport does things a little differently. The Owner’s cabin lies slightly forward, with two guest cabins amidships, There is then a separate VIP cabin in the bows, accessed via the galley area. All cabins are en-suite.
On Deck
A social aft deck comes with a dining table and bar, with good, deep and safe side decks running forward. The Westport’s flybridge will be the main outside social space and delivers a lounge, bar and galley area forward with space left aft for either sun loungers or tender stowage, launch and recovery.
Amenities & Tenders
The Westport’s flybridge reserves space for a tender and crane at its aft end. Instead of a garage, the deck mounted option delivers greater choice on size and when deployed leaves a clear area for sunbathing.
Performance & Capabilities
The Westport is shaftdrive and semi-displacement with a versatile planing hull offering good stability, a smooth ride and useful fast cruising speeds. Twin 2,185hp MTU 16V2000 M86 diesel engines give the Westport 112 a maximum speed of around 25knots and a useful cruising speed of 22knots. Lower down the rev range the Westport can cover up to 2000nm, helped by generous fuel tanks, with standard Naiad stabilisers and a 40hp bow thruster helping with control.
