Sunseeker Manhattan 73 (2011 - 2014) Rivals
Accommodation
If your priority is guest accommodation then the Sunseeker 73 offers well-appointed accommodation for up to 8 guests with its 4 cabin layout option. The 73 benefits from a full-beam master cabin with an en-suite bathroom, hull side windows and a walk-in wardrobe is a standout. The Monte Carlo Yachts 76 and Princess 72 MY, although designed for slightly smaller groups of 8 guests in 4 cabins, still offer an exceptional level of comfort for family getaways.
Performance
When it comes to cruising speed, the Sunseeker 73 holds its own at a respectable 25 knots and a maximum speed of 34 knots. However, the Princess 72 MY surpasses this slightly with an impressive cruising speed of 10 knots signalling a lean towards more dynamic performance capabilities. On the other hand, for those not in a hurry the Prestige 750, with the slowest cruising speed of 24 knots, emphasizes stability and comfort over outright speed and enjoying the journey over the destination.
Unique Characteristics
Each yacht also brings unique features to the forefront. The Prestige 750 impresses with its extensive range of 922 nautical miles, ideal for long voyages. The shallow draft of the CL Yachts CLB72 allows it to navigate waters inaccessible to deeper vessels. The Ferretti Yachts Ferretti 720 focuses on performance and efficiency, with a cruising speed of 28 knots. Meanwhile, the Princess 72 MY offers the best raw performance, with a maximum speed of 36 knots.
Summary
Despite stiff competition, the Sunseeker Manhattan 73 stands out with notable features and design elements. These yachts cater to a wide range of preferences and needs, making the choice a matter of personal taste and specific requirements in the world of luxury yachting.
