The yacht is the eighth hull in Moonen's Martinique 122 series and departs for her first cruising season in Europe, marking another delivery milestone for the Dutch builder's semi-custom steel yacht range.
A Successful Delivery for Moonen's Popular Series
Delivered after final outfitting and testing in the Netherlands, Lollipop is built on Moonen's fast-displacement steel hull platform, a design developed for efficient long-range cruising and comfortable passage-making.
[Lollipop] represents everything Moonen stands for — quality, reliability and understated elegance — and we are confident she will offer her owners an exceptional experience as they begin their first cruising season in Europe.”
- Nicky van Zon, Managing Director of Moonen Yachts
According to Moonen, the owners departed shortly after delivery and plan to spend the summer cruising some of Europe's best-known yachting destinations, putting the yacht's capabilities and onboard amenities into regular use during her first season.
A Playful Approach to Personalization
While retaining the familiar Martinique 122 platform, Lollipop incorporates several owner-requested features that distinguish her from previous sisterships. The yacht features exterior styling by René van der Velden, naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design, and a bespoke interior created by Vripack.
Among the most distinctive additions is a custom sundeck jacuzzi featuring a curved glass front panel inspired by the yacht's candy-themed name. The same theme extends to the sundeck bar, where a transparent countertop incorporates decorative lollipops and candy elements. Soft pastel lighting tubes across the bar front create a warm glow after dark, giving the area a character rarely seen aboard a superyacht. A metallic hull finish further sets the yacht apart from other examples in the Martinique range.
Looking Ahead to Monaco
Moonen's Managing Director, Nicky van Zon, described the delivery as an important moment for both the owners and the shipyard following the completion of the motor yacht's sea trial program.
After her inaugural Mediterranean season, Lollipop is scheduled to appear at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, where she will serve as Moonen's demonstration yacht. The appearance will give prospective clients an opportunity to experience the Martinique 122 series firsthand and examine the custom details incorporated throughout the vessel.
For Moonen, the delivery represents another successful addition to a model line that continues to play an important role in the yard's portfolio, demonstrating the enduring appeal of a proven platform tailored to individual owner requirements.
