27 Crew

Symphony and Lonian were built nearly five years apart by Dutch yard Feadship. Back in 2015 Symphony's impressive LOA of 102m put it in 31st place in the Top 100. Fast forward to 2018 Lonian's LOA of 87m only allowed it to splashdown in 83rd place. The difference between the LOA is easily enough to park three Lamborghini Gallardos nose-to-boot.

Both of these Top 100 entries have 27 crew members, however, Symphony can accommodate 16 guests compared to Lonian’s 14. So Symphony can sleep two more guests than Lonian, but they have the same number of crew. Additionally, Symphony can also accommodate just short of five of the guests' personal staff. Guests on both yachts can arrive in style, as they both have a helipad. Symphony's helipad, which is located forward on her main deck, is certified for helicopters that are up to 3,000kg for drop-off only.

Gross tonnage (GT) is a way of measuring the size of a boat or ship, but it's not really about weight. Instead, it's more about how much space the boat takes up inside. Meet the YB100: YachtBuyer's innovative approach to ranking the world's largest yachts. Positioned 92nd in the YB100 rankings by GT, Symphony has a 26-spot descent from her position in the Top 100 based on length. And even though Lonian lands at 92nd in the YB100, she's unable to secure a spot within the Top 100.

With a superior cruising range of 500 nm beyond Lonian, Symphony still experiences a shortfall of approximately a day in cruising duration. Moreover, her cruising speed exceeds Lonian's by two knots; thus, on a voyage from Miami, Florida to Ibiza, Spain, she'd arrive approximately two days and ten hours ahead.
