Design & Construction
Designed around a steel hull. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The X145 Global/01 has the stance of a proper explorer, but the detailing is far sharper than the old workboat playbook. The 44m (144.4ft) yacht has a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, 9.1m (29ft) beam and 499GT volume, so there is real mass here, but Studio Agon has kept the profile long and clean.
The explorer yacht sits low and broad, with a near-plumb bow, a long black hull band and a white upper structure that steps aft across three main deck levels. The black glazing is used as a strong design line, cutting through the side profile and making the superstructure feel slimmer than the volume suggests. The bow is high and protective, while the aft end opens into a full waterside world rather than a simple swim platform.
The stern is the key move. The beach club has three fold-down balconies, turning the aft section into a wide sea-level lounge with a bar, day head and several seating zones. Above it, the main deck aft is split over two levels, with a lower lounge looking down toward the water and a raised social area with a bar and direct access into the main saloon. It feels like a beach house spread across decks.
There are broad teak terraces, loose lounge furniture, sunbeds, low tables and clear glass rails to keep views open. The owner’s deck has a private aft terrace, while the sundeck carries dining, a full bar, barbecue and more open lounge space. A forward bow lounge adds another quiet spot away from the main aft decks.
A side-opening tender garage sits forward of the beach club and opens to port and starboard. It can hold an 8.5m (27.11ft) tender, two jet skis, a rescue tender and extra toys, so the aft guest areas stay clear.
Interior Design
Inside, the layout is built around space, light and long views. The main saloon uses floor-to-ceiling glass and an open plan that runs from the aft doors toward the forward dining area. Seating sits aft, with a TV opposite, while the dining space forward benefits from 270-degree views through the glass-heavy superstructure.
A central floating staircase links the guest decks and acts as the main interior spine. The lower deck includes a flexible space that can be set up as a spa, gym or cinema, adding another guest area away from the main saloon.
The working side is set up for proper long-range use. A commercial-grade galley, extra cold storage, laundry, crew mess and four ensuite crew cabins sit on the lower deck, supporting extended cruising.
Accommodation
X145 Global/01 accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, with a full private owner’s deck and five double guest cabins.
The owner’s deck is the main draw. It includes a large private terrace, an off-centre king berth, sitting area, walk-in wardrobe, vanity area and bathroom with his-and-hers sinks and rain shower.
Five guest cabins sit below, reached by the central staircase. Crew accommodation is for nine, with four double crew cabins, a substantial mess and service areas planned for long passages or charter use.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin (C32 Acert) 1,300hp engines, motor yacht X145 Global / 01 is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 50,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles.
