The award winning 35.97m expedition yacht Penelope was delivered to her owners in 1990 by American shipyard Delta Marine. Her naval architecture, interior and exterior has been penned by the Delta Design Group design team.
Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement composite hull and superstructure she features a 8.53m beam and a 3.25m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 297 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Accommodation
Penelope offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Penelope is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 75,708 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots making her well capable of long range and transatlantic voyages. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
