Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.7m beam and a 2.03m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 265 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the third yacht built on the Oasis 34M design. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in January 2023.
Exterior Design
Kings Lair is a 34m (111.5ft) Benetti Oasis 34M, and the whole exterior brief revolves around life at the water’s edge. The profile is clean and modern, with a straight bow, a white hull and superstructure, dark glazing, and a silver boot stripe that sharpens the line along the topsides. It has a crisp, purposeful look, and the proportions stay low and open for a yacht in this class.
The aft deck is where the Oasis concept earns its name. A pool sits right at the stern, framed by seating and backed by drop-down balconies that widen the deck out over the water. When those terraces are lowered and the transformer platform is deployed, the whole stern opens into a broad beach club zone that feels far bigger than the yacht’s length suggests. This is the area people will make a beeline for, and you can see why.
The saloon opens onto this deck through large curved electric glass doors, so the interior and aft deck work together as one space when the doors are open. It gives Kings Lair a strong indoor-outdoor flow, and that matters on a yacht built around warm-weather use.
Up top, the sundeck runs almost the full length and carries the social brief forward. There is dining for ten under the hardtop, a buffet and BBQ area to port, and a full-service bar aft with stools, refrigeration, and flexible shade from removable sail canopies. The upper aft deck adds another outdoor lounge and dining space with views down over the beach club.
Forward, the bow provides yet another guest zone with seating and open views ahead. Storage is worked neatly into the foredeck, and the yacht also has a side-loading tender garage, which keeps auxiliary craft out of sight and frees up the deck areas for guests.
Interior Design
The interior of Kings Lair has a light, contemporary feel and avoids the heavy formality that used to dominate yachts in this size range. The main saloon uses curving sofas, parquet flooring, and full-height glazing to keep the space open and relaxed, while the muted tones let the sea views do plenty of the work.
Guests enter through those curved glass aft doors into a saloon that feels broad and bright. Forward, the dining area seats ten and sits against floor-to-ceiling windows, so even the formal side of the main deck stays tied to the outside. It is a clean, easy space to spend time in, and it has more of a beach-house mood than a buttoned-up superyacht one.
The guest lobby sits to starboard with stairs linking the lower deck and bridge deck, while the port side carries the service pantry and galley. The galley is practical and crew-focused, with direct links to service routes and a dumbwaiter that serves the bridge deck and sundeck. That keeps the guest areas clear, which is half the battle on a yacht that is meant to entertain.
The sky lounge on the bridge deck shifts to a more casual tone. It has parquet flooring again, an L-shaped sofa, TV, drinks fridge, wine storage and a dining or games table. It works as a second interior social room, and on a family yacht like this, that extra lounge space tends to earn its keep quickly.
Forward, the wheelhouse keeps the same modern feel, with a practical helm layout, work desk, guest seating aft of the helm and direct access to the Portuguese bridge. The captain’s cabin sits nearby, which keeps operational areas close together.
Accommodation
Kings Lair accommodates up to 10 guests across five ensuite cabins, with a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest cabins below.
The owner’s cabin uses the full width of the yacht and makes good use of the main deck position. It has extra-large windows to port and starboard, parquet flooring, a vanity area, and a full-beam bathroom with twin basins and a shower. The look is calm and understated, and the light coming through those big windows gives it a proper sense of scale.
On the lower deck, two aft guest cabins carry full-size double berths, while the two forward cabins are arranged as twins. All four have ensuite bathrooms, good storage, and oversized glass inserts in the hull that bring in more light than you tend to expect down here. Nobody is drawing the short straw in this layout.
Crew accommodation is arranged forward of the guest cabins and is accessed from the galley. It houses up to seven crew, with a crew mess, TV, laundry area, and three crew cabins. The captain’s cabin sits separately on the bridge deck with its own ensuite.
