Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.9m beam and a 3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 419 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Annamia’s exterior design comes from Francesco Paszkowski and balances traditional superyacht proportions with the softer flowing lines that defined many Italian semi-displacement yachts of the 2000s. Built by Baglietto in steel and aluminium, the 43m (141.1ft) yacht carries a broad 8.9m (29.2ft) beam and more than 420GT of internal volume, though the profile avoids looking overly heavy thanks to its long dark glazing bands, raked bow and gently stepped superstructure.
The hull is finished in metallic grey with a contrasting white superstructure and white boot stripe, while teak decks soften the yacht’s more angular architectural elements. Large oval hull windows and elongated saloon glazing help break up the visual mass of the hull and bring more natural light into the interior spaces.
The yacht’s exterior layout focuses heavily on guest circulation and entertaining. The main deck aft acts as the central daytime gathering point with dining for up to eight guests and direct access to the swim platform below. Twin staircases lead down to the transom, which opens to reveal a large garage housing the tender, jet skis and watersports equipment.
Above, the upper deck aft extends the social spaces further with a second alfresco dining area for up to 10 guests alongside a large lounge arrangement and integrated entertainment system.
The sundeck is one of the yacht’s defining outdoor areas. Positioned beneath the radar arch and mast structure, the space combines a raised jacuzzi, oversized sunpads, a dining area for eight guests and a fully equipped bar with stools, sink, ice maker and teppanyaki grill. The arrangement creates a complete open-air entertaining deck that works equally well underway or at anchor.
Forward, the foredeck keeps a simpler and more functional arrangement with large guest sunpads positioned ahead of the wheelhouse and a separate technical zone further forward containing the rescue tender, crane and anchor-handling equipment. The sharply raked bow and semi-displacement hull form help reinforce the yacht’s purposeful stance while supporting her 4,000nm cruising range at 10 knots.
Interior Design
Annamia’s interior was designed by Francesco Paszkowski and follows a warm, understated style that avoids excessive decoration in favour of comfort, practicality and usable social space. Throughout the yacht, satin-varnished dark wood contrasts against pale carpets, soft fabric wall panels and lighter ceiling treatments, creating a relaxed atmosphere that still feels distinctly Italian in character.
The main saloon is arranged as a broad full-beam social space with multiple lounge areas organised around a central entertainment unit. White and cream-toned seating softens the darker wood finishes, while large side windows bring natural light into the room and reinforce the yacht’s sense of scale. Storage cabinetry integrates refrigeration and wine cooling systems, while concealed television screens maintain cleaner sightlines when not in use.
Forward of the saloon, the formal dining area accommodates up to 10 guests and is separated by custom cabinetry that discreetly conceals a flat-screen television. The arrangement gives the dining space a slightly more intimate feel while still remaining visually connected to the saloon. Adjacent service areas were planned carefully around charter use, with a pantry and dumbwaiter system helping crew move efficiently between the galley, bridge deck and guest dining spaces.
One of the yacht’s most distinctive interior spaces is the full-beam sky lounge on the upper deck. Rather than functioning purely as a quiet observation lounge, the room was conceived as a dedicated entertainment area with race car simulators, arcade games, a poker table, integrated bar, wine cooler and large seating zones. The sheer width of the room gives it the feel of a private club space rather than a conventional upper saloon.
The owner maintains a dedicated office area forward of the master suite, while crew circulation routes remain separated from guest zones to support smooth service during larger events and longer voyages.
Accommodation
Annamia accommodates up to 10-12 guests across five cabins, with a layout designed to work equally well for private cruising or charter operation. The arrangement includes a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck alongside four guest cabins on the lower deck, while separate crew quarters accommodate between six and seven crew depending on configuration.
The owner’s suite occupies a prime forward position on the main deck and benefits from the yacht’s full 8.9m (29.2ft) beam. Accessed through a private office lobby, the suite includes extensive wardrobe storage, a large walk-in dressing area, vanity desk and entertainment system. The ensuite bathroom is finished in marble and includes a two-person oval bath set within timber surrounds, twin basins and a hammam-style shower.
Guest accommodation on the lower deck consists of two double cabins and two twin cabins, each with private ensuite bathrooms and integrated entertainment systems. The twin cabins include Pullman berths that convert them into triple cabins when required, allowing the yacht to sleep up to 12 guests for charter use.
Crew accommodation was planned around long-term usability and operational efficiency. The captain’s cabin sits adjacent to the bridge, while the remaining crew cabins benefit from surprisingly generous volume for a yacht of this size.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512B) 1,950hp engines, motor yacht Annamia is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 85,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
