Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.6m beam and a 3.56m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 988 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2012. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in August 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in November 2015.

Exterior Design

Aelia has the long, layered profile associated with modern Benetti displacement yachts, but the detailing keeps the silhouette sharp rather than heavy. The white hull and superstructure are broken up by long black glazing bands and slim vertical window sections, so the yacht reads lower and longer across the waterline. From the side profile, the deck overhangs create strong horizontal definition while the extended gunwales add depth through the middle of the yacht.

The bow is clean and purposeful, with a near-plumb forward section that stretches the usable deck space forward. Dark glazing wraps continuously around the upper decks, and the wheelhouse windows taper back into the superstructure rather than standing apart from it. Teak cap rails soften the harder architectural lines and add warmth against the white paintwork.

Aelia’s sundeck has a more open arrangement than many yachts in this size range. A raised square Jacuzzi sits forward with broad outward views, while loose lounge seating and shaded areas sit beneath the hardtop overhang aft. Side wing balconies project slightly from the upper structure, widening the usable deck space and giving the profile a more sculpted look.

The stern arrangement focuses heavily on water access. The transom folds down to extend the beach club area while internal stairs maintain uninterrupted exterior lines along the aft section. The beach club itself stays visually clean from the outside, hidden behind the flush transom door when closed.

Forward on the main deck, a concealed passerelle supports tender boarding operations, while the foredeck carries a crane system for launching tenders and water toys. Despite the yacht’s scale, circulation appears carefully planned throughout. Wide side decks, flush thresholds, and lift access between decks support the yacht’s wheelchair-friendly layout, a feature rarely integrated this thoroughly into a yacht of this size.

Aelia features opulent interiors, a jacuzzi, and diverse water toys, ensuring pure luxury and endless fun.

Interior Design

Aelia’s interior takes a far more decorative approach than many recent minimalist superyachts. Rich materials, polished finishes, and classical detailing run throughout the guest spaces, but the palette avoids feeling overly dark thanks to the amount of natural light entering through the large windows.

Parquet flooring forms a major part of the visual identity inside, paired with detailed ceiling insets, lacquered wall sections, and polished amber marble surfaces. Brass trim and mirrored wall panels add further contrast while reflecting light deeper into the rooms. The overall atmosphere leans toward formal European luxury rather than stripped-back contemporary styling.

The main salon combines deep sofas and armchairs with silk rugs and dark timber furniture. Blue accent chairs and soft cream upholstery help break up the darker finishes, while mirrored detailing and glossy surfaces keep the room bright. A circular dining table for ten guests sits beneath a chandelier within the formal dining space, creating a more traditional entertaining setup than the open-plan arrangements now common on newer yachts.

Elsewhere, smaller lounges shift tone slightly. Vintage leather tables, walnut finishes, and contemporary lighting create quieter seating areas with a more intimate feel. The layering of textures is consistent throughout the yacht, from velvet wall panels and leather detailing to polished timber cabinetry and stone surfaces.

The bar area stands out in particular, with padded leather finishes combined with marble counters and brass detailing. Rather than hiding decorative elements, the design leans into them, giving the yacht a more classic superyacht atmosphere with subtle Art Deco influence running through the bathrooms and guest suites.

Accommodation

Aelia accommodates up to 16 guests across eight suites, including two master suites, four double cabins, and two twin cabins. The arrangement gives the yacht unusual flexibility for large family groups or mixed guest parties, particularly with the inclusion of two full master-style cabins rather than a single owner’s suite.

The guest cabins continue the same decorative style seen throughout the main interior spaces. Velvet headboards, lacquered cabinetry, patterned parquet detailing, and bespoke furniture pieces create a more residential feel than a typical charter-focused layout. French Louis XVI-inspired bedside cabinets and antique-style mirrors add further classical detail without overwhelming the rooms.

The bathrooms introduce stronger Art Deco influence through inset mirrors, polished stonework, and layered lighting. Rich fabrics and silk cushions soften the harder lacquer and marble finishes used elsewhere.

Crew accommodation supports up to 14 crew members, allowing for full-service operation during extended cruising or charter use. The yacht’s accessibility-focused layout also extends into the guest areas, with circulation routes and deck access designed to support wheelchair use throughout much of the vessel.
