Dutch builder Feadship proudly delivered the world's 36th longest yacht, Breakthrough, in May 2025. One years earlier, Dragonfly set sail as the world's 13th longest yacht. The difference between the LOA is easily enough to park five Lamborghini Gallardos nose-to-boot.
Breakthrough allows for up to 30 guests to sleep aboard with a crew of 44, while Dragonfly can have 24 guests with 53 crew members. Meaning Breakthrough can sleep over five more guests than Dragonfly, but she has over 15% less crew to deal with service and operations. In addition, Breakthrough also has provision for around two of the guests' employees. Although both superyachts support the luxury of air travel, guests onboard Dragonfly experience the ultimate ease of transfers and the opportunity for adventures off the yacht, with the inclusion of not one, but two helipads.
Despite Breakthrough being reasonably shorter, she only cruises a little slower, but her top speed is only a touch slower.

Gross tonnage (GT) is a way to understand how much "stuff" a yacht can hold, like cabins, bathrooms, and other spaces. Breakthrough and Dragonfly are quite different-sized yachts, both in length overall and GT. It's notable that Breakthrough has around 20% less usable space than Dragonfly. The difference is more than 105 shipping containers of volume. YachtBuyer has debuted the YB100, offering a superior ranking system for the world's largest yachts. In the YB100 standings, Breakthrough holds the 30th position owing to her GT, which places her seven spots above her Top 100 standing determined by length. Furthermore, in the YB100, Dragonfly sits at number 17, slipping down by five positions from her place in the Top 100.
Breakthrough's range is inferior to Dragonfly's by 500 nm, resulting in a cruising time that could be around a day and 12 hours shorter*. If they were journeying from San Francisco, Cailfornia towards San Antonio, Chile, both yachts could clock a duration of roughly two weeks, five days and four hours.
