Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.48m beam and a 1.69m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 90 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Fleming 85 design. She was completed at Fleming Yachts' Tung Hwa Yard yard in Taiwan where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

Ticket to Ride is a Fleming 85, the largest yacht in the Fleming range and the model that takes the builder's long-range cruising formula to its fullest expression. Designed by Norman R. Wright & Sons, the semi-displacement hull combines ocean-crossing capability with the flexibility to cruise efficiently at a wide range of speeds.

The profile is unmistakably Fleming. A gently raked bow, raised pilothouse, Portuguese bridge and broad overhangs create a silhouette that has changed little over the years because it continues to work exceptionally well. Unlike many modern yachts of similar length, the 26m (85.2ft) Ticket to Ride maintains a relatively low profile, helping keep weight low in the yacht while also making movement around the decks feel secure and manageable.

Deep side decks run the full length of the yacht, protected by high bulwarks and substantial stainless steel guardrails. Multiple boarding gates, well-positioned handholds and several remote docking stations reflect the practical nature of the design. This is a yacht built for owners who enjoy active involvement in running their boat rather than remaining passengers.

Forward of the wheelhouse, the Portuguese bridge creates a sheltered deck space that protects the pilothouse from green water while providing extensive locker storage. The foredeck itself remains largely uncluttered, with twin anchor systems, dedicated chain lockers and concealed seating that can be deployed when conditions allow.

Aft, the traditional Fleming "California deck" forms a shaded outdoor dining area beneath a substantial hardtop overhang. The cockpit flows directly to a hydraulic swim platform that can launch toys, support water sports or simply provide easy access to the sea. Large storage lockers and practical transom access further strengthen the yacht's cruising credentials.

The flybridge serves as both an entertainment deck and an operational space. A substantial tender deck carries a large RIB launched via a 1,000kg crane, while the covered flybridge itself incorporates dining, lounging and helm positions. Ticket to Ride features Strataglass enclosure panels that allow the area to be protected from the weather while retaining the open-air character many Fleming owners prefer.

Interior Design

Warm timber joinery, large windows and carefully planned storage create an atmosphere that feels closer to a well-appointed cruising home than a typical production yacht. Every space serves a purpose, from the secure locker systems designed to remain closed at sea to the extensive cabinetry that allows owners to provision for long voyages.

The raised pilothouse sits at the centre of the yacht's layout. Positioned between the accommodation deck below and the main living spaces aft, it functions as the operational hub of the vessel. Ticket to Ride features a customised office arrangement within the wheelhouse, demonstrating the flexibility available within the Fleming 85 platform.

The main saloon benefits from large windows that flood the interior with natural light while maintaining excellent outward visibility. Seating areas are arranged for conversation and relaxation, while a flexible dining table allows the space to adapt to different uses throughout the day.

A standout feature is the galley, which has been designed as a true liveaboard workspace. Full-size refrigeration, extensive work surfaces, a breakfast bar and abundant storage support serious cruising rather than occasional weekend use. The layout allows the galley to function as a social space while still providing the practicality needed for extended passages.

Accommodation

Ticket to Ride has a family-focused layout with a full-beam owner’s suite amidships, three guest cabins forward and separate aft accommodation for up to four crew.

The owner’s suite is the strongest cabin on board, with large opening portlights, a sofa, generous storage and a spacious en suite with a large shower. A private stairway links the suite directly to the main saloon, so the owner can move between the main deck and cabin without passing through the forward guest area.

Forward, the guest layout has been set up for children and grandchildren rather than a conventional VIP-led arrangement. The forward cabin has four single berths, while the port guest cabin has three berths and its own en suite. A smaller twin cabin sits to starboard and uses the nearby day head. This gives the yacht strong sleeping capacity for family cruising.

Aft, the crew area accommodates up to four crew in two bunk cabins. It also has a crew mess, compact galley, bathroom, laundry facilities and direct engine room access. The space is large enough to work as proper crew accommodation, but it could also serve as extra storage, fishing gear space, workshop space or an overflow annex depending on how the owner uses the yacht.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea.
