Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement composite hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 10.6m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 367 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Maori 125 design. Launched in June 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2022.
Exterior Design
K+ is one of those yachts that looks unlike almost anything else afloat. Built by Maori and drawn by Studio Architettura Marco Ciampa, the 38.2m (125.4ft) semi-displacement yacht trades flowing curves for sharp mass, dark glass and stacked deck lines that give her the feel of a low-slung modern villa drifting above the water.
The profile starts with a near-vertical bow and heavy forward sections that carry full height glazing almost right to the stem. From some angles the wheelhouse looks more like a penthouse suspended above the foredeck than a traditional bridge. The dark glass wraps around the upper structure in one long band, broken only by slim supports and deep overhangs.
One of the yacht’s strangest and best ideas sits right forward. Instead of treating the foredeck as dead space, K+ turns it into a private guest terrace connected straight to the main saloon through full-height sliding glass doors. A broad C-shaped sofa wraps around a central table while the raised bulwarks shield the area from the dockside. The effect is unusually private for a foredeck lounge, especially in busy marinas.
The bridge itself sits high above this space, almost floating over the foredeck lounge beneath. That raised helm position frees up the forward deck and gives the yacht a layered, architectural look rarely seen on yachts in this size range.
Aft, the yacht opens into a huge 80m² (861ft²) beach club spread across the stern platform and lower aft deck. Fold-down terraces widen the footprint at sea while the open galley, bar and wine cellar turn the whole stern into a proper waterside social zone rather than just a swim platform.
Above, the upper aft deck carries shaded dining beneath the overhang of the short sundeck. The sundeck itself stays deliberately compact and clean, with open lounging space under a slim canopy rather than oversized furniture layouts. Throughout the yacht, the decks feel wide thanks to the 10.6m (34.9ft) beam and the way the glazing pulls visual weight away from the structure.
Interior Design
Pulina Exclusive Interiors shaped the inside of K+ around glass, width and open sightlines. Huge windows run across three decks, flooding the spaces with daylight and making the interior feel far larger than the yacht’s 367GT volume suggests.
The main saloon uses a relaxed lounge arrangement rather than a stiff formal layout. A bar sits close to the seating area while the dining space for 10 guests stays connected to the rest of the room instead of hidden away. Full-height sliding doors link directly to the foredeck terrace, so the whole main deck can open from bow to stern in good weather.
Upstairs, the upper saloon feels more private and intimate, tied directly to the aft dining and lounging deck outside. The layout works well for splitting groups across the yacht without anyone feeling cut off.
The beach club acts almost like a second social deck. Alongside the bar and wine cellar, the open galley setup changes the feel of the stern from toy garage to proper entertaining space close to the water.
Accommodation
K+ accommodates up to 10 guests in five staterooms.
The owner’s suite takes over the upper deck and spans roughly 36sqm. It includes its own private terrace, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom, giving the owner a level of separation more often seen on much larger yachts.
Four guest cabins sit on the lower deck, made up of two VIP staterooms and two doubles, all with ensuite bathrooms.
Crew accommodation supports up to seven crew across three twin cabins with Pullman berths plus a captain’s cabin with a double bed.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12) 1,800hp engines, motor yacht K+ is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 37,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,200 nautical miles at 13 knots making her well capable of long range and transatlantic voyages. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
Ensuring everyone on board can enjoy the water to the fullest, luxury yacht K+ offers a large beach club connected to a swim platform, with plenty of space for lounging and soaking up the sea views. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
