Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 11.38m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,294 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.

Construction started in early 2020. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in August 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in March 2025.

Exterior Design

JAS features an exterior developed by The Italian Sea Group’s Centro Stile, with a profile that builds on the yard’s established 66m platform while introducing a distinctive additional upper level. The yacht is constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, finished in white with a contrasting black boot top. Teak decking is used throughout the exterior decks.

Partway through construction, the owner requested the addition of a new observation deck at the top of the yacht. This extra level alters the proportions compared with her sister ship Life Saga II, adding height while remaining visually integrated into the overall profile. The observation deck creates a second sundeck and allows the deck below to accommodate additional owner-focused accommodation.

Large areas of glazing define the exterior. Floor-to-ceiling windows run along the main and upper decks, contributing to strong natural light inside while also shaping the yacht’s visual identity from the outside. Sliding glass windbreakers and foldable glass elements are used extensively to allow exterior spaces to be enclosed, partially sealed, or left open depending on conditions.

The sundeck incorporates a touch-and-go helipad, with steps leading down to a raised Jacuzzi with a capacity of approximately 2,500 litres. Adjacent interior and exterior areas include a bar, oven, barbecue, and DJ station, arranged to support informal entertaining. Above, the observation deck includes a wood-encased spa pool positioned aft, with views over the stern.

The main deck aft features one of three pools on board, while a second pool is located within the lower-deck beach club. The beach club opens out to the sea via unfolding balconies positioned close to the waterline, enhancing the connection to the water and allowing light into the space.

Interior Design

The interior of JAS was designed by Mark Berryman Design and developed from a spec build into a more personalised yacht once an owner joined the project during construction. The design prioritises light, comfort, and liveability over high-gloss finishes, with an emphasis on natural materials and repeated motifs to create cohesion across spaces.

A combination of wood and leather is used throughout, producing a relaxed, beach-house character. Lighter American oak is paired with darker wenge to create contrast, while avoiding high-gloss treatments. Materials used inside extend into exterior areas, reinforcing continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The main deck saloon connects directly to the aft entertainment area through fully foldable glass elements, allowing the interior to open almost entirely to the exterior. On the upper deck, a circular dining area sits between interior and exterior spaces and can be fully enclosed in glass, partially sealed, or left open, depending on use and conditions.

Staircases, banisters, lighting features, and selected artworks introduce gentle curves into the interior architecture. Smaller details make use of rustic, organic textures, including woven and distressed Foglizzo leather on wall panels, door handles, and furniture accents. A consistent but varied approach is taken in the cabins, where the same base materials are used with subtle pattern changes.

Large sheets of glazing line the main and upper decks, including sections that open to create fold-down balconies. On the main deck, a balcony can be deployed at the touch of a button, forming an over-water terrace when at anchor. Additional light reaches the beach club via clear panels set into the main deck above.

Accommodation

JAS accommodates up to 12 guests across eight cabins, an unusually high count for a yacht of this size. This configuration was a direct result of the owner’s request for additional owner-focused accommodation rather than a standard spec layout.

The primary owner’s suite is located on the sundeck, positioned forward behind a wall of glass and offering direct, private access to the foredeck, which also functions as a touch-and-go helipad. Adjacent to the owner’s cabin is an additional cabin suited to children or close family members, allowing them to remain nearby.

A further VIP cabin is also located on the sundeck. Additional guest accommodation is arranged across the main and lower decks, including a VIP suite on the main deck and remaining guest cabins below. One of the cabins is technically classified as a staff cabin, contributing to the total of eight guest cabins.

All guest cabins follow a consistent palette of cream and light brown, with organic textures, leather detailing, and ample storage intended to support extended stays and larger groups.

Crew accommodation supports up to 15 crew across 10 cabins, allowing the yacht to operate efficiently with a full service team.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512C) 2,012hp engines running at 1600rpm, motor yacht Jas is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 126,372 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Waterfront living can be enjoyed to the fullest, thanks to a large beach club and connecting swim platform with plenty of space for sitting back and admiring the sea views. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
