Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.25m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the second yacht built on the Bilgin 173 II design.

Exterior Design

Bilgin 173 II NB90 is a 53m (173.9ft) steel-hulled displacement yacht by Bilgin Yachts, with exterior design and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design. Her beam is 9.25m (30.3ft), draft is 2.60m (8.5ft), and volume is kept at 499GT, so the platform sits just under the key 500GT mark while still carrying the deck space of a larger charter yacht.

The profile is long, low and contemporary, with a near plumb bow, grey hull and layered white superstructure. Large rectangular hull windows sit low in the profile, while the main and upper deck glazing stretches in dark horizontal bands, giving NB90 an architectural look. The mast and radar arch are finished in dark tones, adding contrast without making the upper decks feel heavy.

The stern has a wide main deck aft arranged as a beach-style terrace, with a pool set close to the swim platform and loose sun loungers around the teak deck. This space steps up through the aft deck levels, creating a strong link between the water, the main deck aft, the bridge deck aft and the sundeck.

The bridge deck aft has a large lounge and dining area, while the sundeck adds another social zone with dining, sunpads and open deck space around the hardtop. Forward, the bow has a private lounge with seating and sunpads set behind high bulwarks, so it works as a more sheltered guest area at anchor.

Interior Design

The interior is by Hot Lab and is shaped around warm natural tones, soft curves and a calm, modern finish. The design brief focuses on architectural precision with softer detailing, so the spaces should feel polished without being stark.

The layout is planned for charter use, with clear movement between indoor and outdoor zones. Large windows connect the main guest areas to the sea, while the deck arrangement allows guests to shift between shaded lounges, open sun areas and water-level spaces without crowding one deck.

The interior tone is described as tactile and sea-connected, with refined materials and fluid geometry used throughout. That suits the yacht’s wider aim: a contemporary 53m charter yacht that feels open, easy to use and fit for long stays aboard.
