The 30.56m motor yacht Adromelia was delivered to her owners in 2019 by British shipyard Princess. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Bernard Olesinski, while Princess is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.05m beam and a 2.08m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 124 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2017. This was the eighth yacht built on the Princess 30M design. She was completed at Princess' South Yard yard in United Kingdom where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in March 2019.

Exterior Design

Adromelia is a 30.56m (100.3ft) Princess 30M with exterior design by Olesinski and the Princess Design Studio. Her hull is a metallic steel-blue, almost blue-grey in tone, paired with a white superstructure and dark glazing, so the profile has more contrast than the standard all-white finish.

The Princess 30M has a raised pilothouse profile, with long main deck windows and shaped bulwarks that open views from inside. The hull glazing is also distinctive, with a mix of large rectangular lower-deck windows and smaller portlights set into the blue hull.

The main deck aft is shaded by the flybridge overhang and arranged as a social cockpit, while the wide hydraulic bathing platform creates easy access to the water. A garage can house a 4.5m (14.8ft) tender or jet ski, keeping the aft deck clear when underway.

The flybridge is one of the yacht’s main outdoor spaces, with around 53m² (570ft²) of deck area. It can carry sun loungers, sofas, a wet bar, dining for up to 12 and an optional spa bath, while the hardtop gives shade without closing the deck off.

Forward, the bow has sunpads and a small seating area, giving Adromelia a quieter outside space away from the cockpit and flybridge.

Interior Design

The interior is shaped around light and volume, with the main deck windows and cut-down bulwarks helping the saloon and dining areas feel open. The raised pilothouse keeps navigation separate from the main guest spaces, so the main deck can focus on lounge, dining and owner use.

An optional starboard hydraulic balcony can open from the saloon, adding a direct link to the sea and bringing fresh air into the main deck. The layout also benefits from the Princess 30M’s broad beam and high-volume design, which gives the yacht the feel of a larger model.

Accommodation

Adromelia offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 VIP cabins, 1 twin cabin and 1 cabin that can operate as twin or double. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M86) 16-cylinder 2,217hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Adromelia is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 14,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,200 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down. Adromelia also features an inviting spread of sunpads.
